Guess they were feeling a little confident of our inability to kill any of thier ships. This loss set him about about 175mil in losses after insurance payout.
We did lose a Typhoon in the battle though.
Along with the Astarte, there was a Raven and a Cyclone.

I guess some people must get pleasure out of using their 15+ mil skill point toons, to kill < 1,000,000 skill point pilots in frigates.
2006.08.13 04:38 Isk Sink Inc. has declared war on Eve University. After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.
A HUGE 1 man corp and his 2 alts. Looking for easy ganks in his interceptor no doubt.
2006.08.13 18:58 Exotic Dancers Club has declared war on Eve University. After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.
A HUGE 15 man grief corp. Minimum entry to this corp is 15+ mil skill points. You should check thier killboard if you would like to know what T2 fitted ships do to frigates.
From Exotic Dancers killboard:
For Our Entertainment
Targets: Eve University
Duration: Sun 11th Jun, 2006 - Wed 30th Aug, 2006 (Active)
We see Exotic Dancers daily from 16:00 to 22:00 eve time. Not much before that, seldom ever after that.
I don't think anyone has had the pleasure of seeing the guy from Isk Sink yet... maybe he'll show up some day, or he really does waste isk on his war decs. We did run a locator agent on him, and he was 20+ jumps away. Guess he has more important things to do, then attend to our war.

We have been at constant war for the past couple of months and it's taken a toll on our members, staff, and mission. Tt's time to get back to training and helping the n00bs find their place in EvE.
Here is a copy of our announcement:
About a year ago talks started between the famous NAGA and ourselves about starting an alliance. First it was just going to be an empire alliance but soon we decided to try to claim a small part of 0.0 space to open it up to the community of EVE.
EVE University joined in because we felt that access to 0.0 would offer new players learning experiences that we cannot offer in empire. Also it would give experienced teachers an incentive to stay with the university. There have been good times and there have been bad times. We learned a lot about life in 0.0 and we were perhaps not prepared for some of the major assaults we had to endure on this rather poor piece of space.
After MC completed its contract, TBB hit a low and we have been unable to recover. Many corps left TBB at this stage and soon after, but the University stayed. More and more energy and resources from EVE University players were sunk into this project to the point where it was no longer enhancing our mission or helping our members. NAGA and ourselves have worked very hard since the start of this project to make this work but we have increasingly grown tired of it and find that we are not able to keep the “IPS” mission alive on our own. I would like to thank all our friends as well as every current and former member of TBB for all there help trying to pull this off. We have made mistakes but we have learned a lot from them.
EVE University will now leave TBB and refocus on its main mission, to welcome new players to the EVE Universe and help them learn as much as possible. I hope we will be able to regain 0.0 access by some other means soon.
Most current standings that the University has with many other corps and alliances, will be reset over the next few days, we ask anyone that’s wanting a new standing with the University to please contact us.
Thank you
Morning Maniac

Over the past several months I’ve been training my skills and learning the different aspects of EvE.
I have had the pleasure of being in several wars, as a member of The Big Blue alliance.
The list of corps/alliances that we have fought against is a long and distinguished list of the who’s who in EvE, given that it only spans the last 6 months.
Official War Declarations:
Burn Eden (Corp)
Armored Assassins (Corp)
Battle Angels (Corp)
Alektrophobia (Alliance)
Mercenary Coalition (Alliance)
IPS/Geminate Griefers:
S.A.S (Corp)
Euphoria Unleashed (Alliance)
Some of these corps listed are/were the best in game. You can definitely learn a lot from fighting or simply watching these guys fight.
