The Graduates has grown by leaps and bounds since my last posting. We are over 275 members today, and still growing!!!

We also celebrated our 1st birthday on August 17th.

Over the past year, we've seen many members come and go and even some return. We've taken in a couple of smaller corps who wanted to experience 0.0 life aswell.

Lower Syndicate has been fun, and a great please for people to learn 0.0 warfare. We effectively control the lower half of Syndicate now.

Since we joined the little fledgling BRUCE back in June, the alliance too has grown. Today, BRUCE is 1600 members strong and growing. Only major step left for BRUCE, is to take some decent deep 0.0 space to call home. Hopefully sooner then later before my pilots get restless ;P

BRUCE

We have joined Brutally Clever Empire. We are moving our gear into Syndicate as we speak.

Over the next week or so, we'll introduce ourselves to all the local reds :)
A new era...

After spending the last couple of weeks back in empire, we were talking about our next move. At this time, we decided we could no longer stay in IVY because of thier 'neutral' stance to further thier mission.

TGRAD was created to be a T2 version of E-UNi, but to do it for 0.0 teachings. It was with great sadness that we need to leave IVY to continue to teach 0.0 to new eve pilots, as there was no way to do it while in IVY, without causing some 'political' issues for IVY themselves.

So we started our search for how to accomplish this. We looked at several alliances, and entertained an offer from Smash/Roadkill for the IPS constellation, which were the 2 outposts we built. But, their offer was for 2B per month, which was something more then 50 or so pilots could gather, and given the large drop in Zydrine prices, was close to 35% of the value of the systems if completely strip mined.

So, we talked to a few alliances to get a handle on the situation. Almost everyone is involved in the 'eve war' which we wanted to try and avoid for now. We ended up finding a new and upcoming alliance, which hopefully will give us something to work towards over the next few months.

So we have joined...
IVY League

Shortly after leaving ISS, we join IVY League. Who is IVY League? They are no other then Eve Univeristy.

The IVY alliance was created to help ward off the cheap war decs that the corp was getting. Shortly after rejoining E-UNi, we received a war dec from Privateers which were quickly dispatched :)

We gave a week long expedition in lowsec to the young E-UNi students. They had great fun, killed a pirate or two, and made some isk.

Since day 1 of the new drone regions, IVY has held a small 3 star dead end cluster in one of the regions. The more experienced members have been mining and ratting there, providing minerals for some of the E-UNi production lines, and allowing them to get some needed isk for future combat.

In early April, just after our first capital pilots finished their training, we joined them in 0.0 space to help secure it, and get some needed minerals for our production lines. The drone regions were still bugged at this point, which made mining a little difficult. About 2 weeks into the deep space project, we got a visit from Invictus. They put 2 of our POS's into reinforced mode, because they wanted to see how we would react.

We talked with Virtuosso about it, and agreed that we would have our fleet in system the following day at an agreed time, and they would come in and engage. They were late, but they did come ;) The battle was great, as you can see here: http://killboard.eve-uni.com/?a=kill_related&kll_id=864

We destroyed a very large amount of isk value in ships and mods, and lost about 1/3 of that ourselves. It was probable the best large scale fleet battle E-UNi has ever had.

The following weekend, while the Invictus alliance leaders were away, a few over reaching corps, decided to put up a POS in our system, and completely destroyed one of our POS's. At that time, we it became an isk sink, and that is not something E-UNi could afford. We started to tear down our POS's, and jump everything back to empire. This process took a little over 24 hours, almost non stop to jump everything we had back.

In the middle of the pull out, the Invictus alliance leaders were back on, and he was troubled that we were leaving. As he put it "We used a nuke on a kitten", as they only wanted a little pvp, and didn't want us to leave. But, it was to late as a POS was destroyed, and we didn't have the means for a repeated pvp encounters of any scale, as we had no station rights anywhere in the region, and every felt it was necessary to kill us on the way.
EC-P8R Adventures

The last blog, said we were leaving Eve University to manage the ISS Cassini station in EC-P8R under our new corp, The Graduates.

Under our rule here, we amassed a great number of kills against hostiles while fine tuning our combat skills. We quickly reached 1,000 kills in just under 3 months.

We setup a 7 POS chain, to help fund our PvP efforts in the area.

In early January, D2 decided they didn't like ISS any longer, and took out both of our stations in Pure Blind. ISS Cassini was the last target, which saw the use of D2's Titan for the first time. Upper ISS Management tried to negotiate with D2 to allow us to withdrawl the TGRAD POS's from EC-P8R, but they said no. The end result was the total destruction of 5 of our large towers. The other 2 towers, all the modules were destroyed, but the towers were still standing.

We managed to sneak the 2 towers out a few weeks later, after the area calmed down.

Because of our large losses in EC-P8R, and the eventual loss of all the ISS stations, we decided it would suit TGRAD best to recover in empire, thus ending our stay in ISS.
